I apologize to all for not getting this up sooner. Rob Fumiatti was a good friend of mine and of Eric's. The last time I spoke to Rob was at a signing that Eric and Dubie were doing at GIAQUINTO'S DELI in West Haven. Rob brought his children down to see Eric and I had the opportunity to reminisce with Rob about growing up and playing hockey. He had brought back memories that I had forgotten. I recall Rob asking me if I remembered playing on his line with Ted Drury when we all played for Team Connecticut back in the day. Rob said that was the best line he had ever played on. How could I possibly disagree with that. Rob was one of the nicest guys you could meet. He was very genuine. Also, he had some of the best hands I have seen on the ice as he was one hell of a hockey player!
